Yeah at the moment they've forfeited Reserve Grade however I think there are still discussions about whether it stays forfeited. You'd think they'd have to pull players from other teams before they can forfeit.
While it's a by-product of the stupid last 5 games rule you should have big punishment for forfeiting a premier league game as a club.

I imagine penno would be pissed considering they could lose the reserve grade premiership on goal difference and you'd think they would've put more than 3 past Saints. Bit unfair on them

they could have also drawn or lost.
now they have a free win, no chance of injuries, not having to worry about which players can play ressies and firsts
and all the pressure is on west ryde to get 3 points when they havnt won in over a month

As much as it sucks for Penno, Ryde have been playing the back half of the season with about 17-18 players from their team sheets.
Now add in the rule in the last 5 games that you can't play 3 out of the last 5 up and they probably didn't have enough eligible players to play in ressies.
I think Penno have been hard done by, but the rules are the rules, so I don't think there is much that can be done.
