Interested to know what Normanhursts trainings are like considering their reserve grade are top of the league and first grade can only score in their own net.  Does normanhurst reserve grade feed their 'can't scoremanhurst' first grade in training each week? Questions have to be asked regarding selections for poo slinger FC. Would love to get some people's thoughts on this coaching conundrum.

When do people start taking Epping seriously as title contenders?

They are getting into everyone's faces. They aren't backing down. Could see a couple of dem legs getting snapped with alot of the trash talk that comes from that camp. But they are without a doubt not looking like losing a game from here.

Woods - the team we all think are shite and then wonder how they are in the Top 4. 

Penno are the biggest pretenders out there. The Putney crew have not made them title contenders at all. They have disgressed severely. 

If you finished in the top 4 last year and replaced half your first grade lineup with players from a team that finished 8th, why would you expect to the team to be stronger?

I heard penno picked up players from Putney's ressies too, which might explain why their ressies have been poor this year.

One this is for sure, Epping are the stand outs and don't look like slowing down 

Epping definately looking strong and in a good position early on. But don't forget that this is the first time each team is playing them during the season. They have the advantage of no-one really knowing what they're like to play against.

We know teams like EEW will be a physical affair, we know teams like WRR and WPH will try to play fast, counterattacking football, we know teams like STA and NMH will run all day.

Epping have taken a lot of teams by surprise with how well they play and any decent team will know how to approach them 2nd round and be a bit more prepared.

That being said it may make no difference and we could have another Dragons 2021 on our hands and have a promoted team win the comp.

Only time will tell.

noticed a few guys in their ressies this week who previously played firsts. Imagine being dropped for the rabble that came from Putney 

their tall right centre back in ressies and the shorter one at Left back did much better than their first team counterparts 

scooter the veteran somehow playing ressies while the candyman moved like a snail on the boronia surface 

the ressies captain as well didn't stop he was a machine... surely some discord there as those 4 or 5 players should be swapped in for the Putney rejects 

Also we're just better than them and have been for years. You don't come to our fortress at Boronia and come away with points.

NWSFA put out the structure for contingency plans at the start of the season

 PL and SL started 2 weeks early so we won't be included in the 1st 2 contingency plans.  They have made the change - if your ground is open you will play. They have wiped cancelling whole rounds.

I play for Tigers and I’ve started making some TikTok content around personal training and things like “day in the life” and matchday clips. I’m keen to record this Saturday’s game at Normanhurst Oval.

Ideally, I’d like to film first grade mainly because, let’s be honest, Normanhurst’s firsts aren’t exactly the strongest squad, so there’s a good chance we’ll get some entertaining footage. I'll be doing a mic'd up session so feel free to come up to me if you want some stuff cut out. (I'm number 4 with the tats)
