First Contingency Plan for Round One was PL, SL and WPL playing
Second Contingency Plan invovled SL only playing
Third Contingency Plan involved PL only playing
Fourth Contingency Plan involves WPL only playing
Association trying to level the playing field and ensure juniors and seniors get a fair go. With everyone paying over $400 for rego fees, I guess this makes sense

Settle down champ, that doesn't compute with the centre of the universe PL players that think the association revolves around them.

The Council needs to fix the drainage of the fields because we know things like this are gonna happen every season and yet they never update the fields. If fields had proper drainage and are pre planned for stuff like this to happen, they wont have the stress of needing to postpone games and giving teams triple headers and the season wont go through to December.
The way our seasons ran was that councils would bill each club at the end of each month for the pitch hire. So if the game didn't go ahead the council didn't get paid. Compared to grounds here it was like playing at Wembley. Groundsmen were full time and took it personally if their pitches looked crap.
the model over here is a joke. If you pay anybody up front with absolutely no recourse for complaint regardless of the product they then supply you how good do you think your steak will taste and how are your wedding photos going to look?
As you say, councils don't care and as it's "only" grass roots neither do the powers that be.

I wonder if they are putting everything aside so PL can play on the weekend ? Local PL players have to take priority ahead of everyone else that pays their fees don't they ?
Waiting to hear from all those that think they are above all others in the association - probably the same people that turn up each week, whinge and don't assist with anything around their clubs due to their importance.

I mean would we as a comp rather not play ffs. If your football is better on a cow paddock than it is on flat astro then you need to look in the mirror. Probably luckier than other associations in having 4 astro venues
