Thought the game flowed well. Ref could've pulled up more but he let it flow for what was a tight contest. Even number of sanctions too I think. Lions pen was no doubt, brain explosion from Pats defender and as for Pats pen appeals, the tall striker yanked back a lions defender before tripping so not sure about that one and the little pats striker kept flopping all night. Pats keeper lucky to not see red with his brain fart as well. Pats pushed lions and missed an absolute sitter in last few minutes think it was harder to miss that not. But well done to Pats, they mixed it with lions very well.

I genuinely find it hilarious how legit everyone has been calling out the refs association to pick their best ref for the First Grade final and the minute they actually do so, everyone's still up in arms.
Theres honestly no satisfying people nowadays.
I heard that Juice wasn't even suppose to be on the game and that the lady ref that does the rosters was going to be on it instead. 100% all the posts would have been how that would have been a conflict of interest.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt seeing as you're most likely a pats player/supporter but that ref traditionally in most games he's officiated is actually harsher on WPH than most other refs in this comp. I believe it's him wanting to show the complete opposite of what you're claiming in that he's not bias at all.
This was our ressies team come on.. rovers boys we've played 3 times in the last 5 weeks or so will tell you that
as for Juice reffing firsts, I'm on the fence on that. I've said he is the best ref we have but given his allegiance to West Penno it makes for contentious reading. Can't fault WPH though. Must be doing something right at the club to always be there at the business end of the year

Constant sooking? WPH won on a questionable penalty which could of gone the other way for pats in the first half. When the ref is a WPH alumni then the justification for favouritism is reasonable.
The pen for WPHC was definitely a pen. Not even debatable. I find it funny how everyone is whinging about Juice and his allegiance to WPHC when he made the ridiculous call to not send off the ST Patts keeper for intentionally using his hands well outside his box. One of the most blatant red cards I've ever seen. How it wasn't given is laughable

What law does it say that an intentional handball must be a red? I'll help you out, it doesn't. A red for this sitch is for dogso. I can see why some may think a red but I think a yellow was justifiable if you know the conditions that need to be met for dogso. Two of them distance from goal and defenders where not met or did everyone not see the defender. Brave but a right call, only a wrong call to the peanut gallery that don't know the laws.
If Juice was lenient on Pats keeper he sure was more leninent on the Penno player who left studs in while on a yellow.
As a neutral spectator the WPH pen was certainly the right call but Pats deserved one in the first half for an identical challenge in the 18 yard. It did also seem that Juice favored WPH in many 50/50 calls.
All in all the better side probably won but all the big calls went the way of WPH which matters in big games
Nah pats 1st half was that little striker flopping all over the place like he did all game. From where I saw that was a coming together of bodies the little flop thought he'd take advantage of. The west penno was just a dumb challenge in the back from a pats defender.

Without the handball we had two strikers facing the goal with the ball under control and only one defender between them and an empty net.

I believe it's him wanting to show the complete opposite of what you're claiming in that he's not bias at all.

Constant sooking? WPH won on a questionable penalty which could of gone the other way for pats in the first half. When the ref is a WPH alumni then the justification for favouritism is reasonable.

What law does it say that an intentional handball must be a red? I'll help you out, it doesn't. A red for this sitch is for dogso. I can see why some may think a red but I think a yellow was justifiable if you know the conditions that need to be met for dogso. Two of them distance from goal and defenders where not met or did everyone not see the defender. Brave but a right call, only a wrong call to the peanut gallery that don't know the laws.

As a neutral spectator the WPH pen was certainly the right call but Pats deserved one in the first half for an identical challenge in the 18 yard. It did also seem that Juice favored WPH in many 50/50 calls.
All in all the better side probably won but all the big calls went the way of WPH which matters in big games
