A 4th Premiership in 5 years is an outstanding achievement (some might argue Dragons part season win doesn't count, but not me).

Even missing a stack of first team today and ending with 10 men, got the point they needed.

Marching on without Stu, Kane and a few other first team stalwarts. Covers has taken it out with an even younger first team. Can they back it up in the finals yet again?

Waiting for Keith to turn up and tell us how Kenthurst would beat them 13-0 with their reserve side........

Fair dinkum.

4 in 5 years is an achievement, but how many double doubles.

We have set the benchmark, maybe in a few years you might bw able to catch us.

The hills comp is so much stronger that your weak comp.

I was a bit confused when west penno started celebrating a draw against us but made sense when you sung your team song after a draw.

To be fair it would have been a loss if not for the red card . Give door dash a raise.

They lost ressies GF lst season as far as I can remember.

Correct
wrote on 09-Jul-23 13:51

Unbeaten all season then lost to the better side on the day.

But achieving 5 out of the last 6 potential doubles plus another Premiership is something to be proud of.

West Ryde looking at 2nd in first grade and a ressies Premiership is good for the comp though and if they as a middle sized club can do it no reason others can't if they can get their culture and pathways right.

Hmm
wrote on 09-Jul-23 14:03

Rovers have been up there or abouts in both grades for the last few seasons. If and when WPH drop off I can't really see anyone else than WRR take over as top dogs.
EEW have been pretty lacklustre when compared to previous seasons, dragons have struggled to put consistent result together. Penno and STA have really dropped off in the last few years.

Range Rover
wrote on 09-Jul-23 17:43

It's actually where WRR should be.

they are the biggest club in the association taking over wph this year.

and with the synthetic pitch going in to lh waud soon, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

Only if their PL squad get the support it needs from the rest of the club.

About as unlikely as it gets.

Disgraceful scenes at the end of the game where Saints spectators thought it was a good idea to surround the junior assistant referee for an offside decision that the referee overruled.

Couldn't think of a better team to be relegated. Woeful football club.

Oh the irony, one team talking about another teams disgraceful spectator behaviour.

Hawks and tigers spectators get so drunk on the sideline they probably don't even remember the effed up shit they are screaming out.

hawks spectators can have their moments but putting them in the same sentence as the EEW Neanderthals is very harsh
