What happened to the Lions today losing both?

Players missing? Just an off day?

no just about time they got humbled. The short king in midfield needed a quick reality check

Who would you rate as the hottest team in the comp?

Any chance?
wrote on 24-Jun-23 20:02

Is there any chance of a sensible discussion on a game without the constant pissing contest and abuse of opposition players?

I'm just a neutral interested in the details of a shock result. Seriously wonder why I even bother with this forum anymore, its literally full of bellends playing the big man from behind a keyboard.

Does anyone want to add anything of value?

Penno were the better team, took their chances. Had a decent striker up top and actually finished the game with 9 after two double yellow cards all though the last one was with a min to go. Hats off to them, probably keeps them safe for another year and try and recruit as many of their 18/1s as possible.

So Penno came good then. When I saw them a few weeks ago they actually looked to have some decent individuals but were quite loose defensively and not putting bodies on the line.

What were your thoughts on Lions? One off bad day or some cracks appearing?

Cpt Sensible

Penno played like their place in the comp depended on it Wph weren't themselves so no doubt will bounce back. Could have Re woken the lion??

Few wph first graders out with injury or suspension but none the less was a deserved win for penno, they played well.

Normo?

against a penno with equally if not more players out injured. That's a massive result for them.

100%. To be able to pull a miraculous win like this out of a dumpster fire of a season is nothing short of massive! First team to 6 point wph in 2 seasons, who'd have thought it would come from Penno?

now try not to balls it all up by losing to St Pats next week!

Penno must have picked up a new striker late in the season?  couldn't hit a barn door for the last 2 years

Normo going only 6 points total in both grades across the last 5 rounds. No wins in 1st grade.

Strangely quiet on the forum too. Guess everyone has worked out they're the biggest flogs in the comp and make sure to put them to the sword

wouldn't count them out so soon. Have played every team, including us off the park. Most teams have been lucky to secure points according to reports.
