As the title says should NWSF implement a club championship to determine promotion and relegation as opposed to the current system based solely on the first grade table. Could be similar to how the leagues above do it with more points available from first grade games e.g 5 points for a win, 2 points for a draw with reserve grade accounting for 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Alternatively, it could be done with a straight addition of both tables as they normally display with only the standard 3 points available for each grade.

If done right it could mean stronger squads accross the board and could add a second level of excitement in the league but would love to hear peoples thoughts and feelings for and against it.

Just checked the rules and its only open to teams with 10 or more teams and 4 of them have to Div 1 or Div 2. This would rule out a bunch of smaller clubs including St Pats

Below is how FNSW work out the NPL club championship. Altough promotion and relegation at this point is done via First Grade standings only and the u20 comp has become a fasical because of this.

If we want to give some creadance to Ressies we could get NWSF to bring in something like the below for PL and SL.

  1. NSW will use the following process when ranking the Clubs within each Competition:
    1. NPL NSW Men’s, FNSW League One Men’s and FNSW League Two Men’s– Club championship with points calculated from all Premiership Matches in all grades using the following system;
    2. Please Note: Club championship ranking for Men’s does not contribute to promotion and

Grade

Points Multiplier

1st Grade

Premiership points x 4

U20

Premiership points x 2

Is there any sort of points system that we can implement that doesn't have WPH at the top?

No

Why change it

only to benefit poor Penno???

it should be the same, but club championship should be something we look at.
