Round 5 saw some interesting results in the Womens PL competition. 

High flying Weat Pennant Hills came from a goal down to beat West Ryde Rovers 2-1 with a late winner to Georgia Vos. The win kept WPH in touch with Putney at the pointy end of the table. 

Elsewhere, North Epping scraped together a 3-1 win against cellar dwellers Gladesville Sharks for their 2nd win of the campaign. 

The street-wise Putney Rangers saw off a determined Flying Bats 3-1 to keep their perfect winning record intact. 

To wrap up the round the young Dragons upset Beecroft 2-0 at Cheltenham Oval for their 2nd win. 

Round 6 will see a mouth-watering clash between the two heavyweights Putney and West Pennant Hills.
