Any updates fellas. What is the comp like. I see that STA and RED are on top at the moment. Some interesting scores with PEN losing to the top 2.

Nothing special in league just a few solid teams Normo have players who played 35's 15 years ago and manage to hold teams in first half before running out of steam Games played in good spirit with a sprinkling of skill Kurt still going well for Penno

Late bloomers.

Comp of four teams by the look of it so far but it's early days. The Redbacks are a combined team of last year's Hawks, the Redbacks and a couple of new guys. Both teams struggled last year with numbers and this year it's been a dream not having to worry about having 11 on the park. I'm looking forward to this weekend's game against STA.

Late > bloomers. Several of us played four years in Div 1 around 2000. Came 2nd or 3rd to Ravens one year....never said that we were a great team. Few younger guys with us now which helps, and prevents us going to O/45's. We are up against it, but won't give up, you will have to turn up to beat us. Hey we even scored the first goal against STA!

Having Mile Sterjovski in the team must help too!

Geez, you're a young one....memory like that is impressive in 35's. Not arguing with your scores, but we definitely played for more than 2 seasons in Div 1 and in 2003 we had a Div 1 & 3 side by my recollection. In fact we have had three O/35 sides for many years. To be pedantic we have players that played in Prem Championship teams in early 80's (not for Normo) and for Normo in their winning sides a few years ago. Not bragging about how good we were, just how OLD we are.

Hi Benji No Normo in 35/1 2003. It became a six team comp as clubs were sick of getting flogged by Ravens, Epping YMCA and Eastwood St Andrews teams. Teams played each other 3 times. Normo did play 35/2 IN 2004, Ravens fielded 2 teams in Div 1 2004 to make it a seven team comp. Epping Eastwwod young guns first year in 35's and came second due to Epping YMCA beating them in the second round. 2005 Normo played 35/1 and finished last. It was a 13 team comp that year. Epping eastwood finished first scoring 97 goals and only 6 against. Ravens finished second and third. One team scoring 77 goals and the other 66 goals. A year of many better than 10 plus goal results for the top teams. Which was why many teams dropped out of Div 1 in the previous years. Good on you for still having a run. There arn't many Ravens of that time still running around. Here's the tables for 35's 2003 plus championship round. I cannot get then to line up but you can read the teams. Ravens and Epping YMCA both scored 60 goals for the season in 15 games. Wow My memory is failing me then...do remember an absolute flogging against Epping Eastwood one year.....Paul Wade watched and had a laugh Obviously we slipped into Div 2 and came back again to be flogged. Prefer my Premier league memories....they are further in the past and I played much better!!

That was the year of the infamous 13 team division 2 comp. GHFA in their infinite wisdom dispensed with div 1 comp due to lack of nominations and combined both divisions. I graded a 6 team div 1 comp but was over ruled. The scorelines were a farce

Yes top bloke...remember he bought a P76 when it came out. Boot was big enough to fit in the whole squad! Think he was manager of our 1981 Prems winning squad, might have moved on to GHFA by 1985...but my memory does play tricks on me occasionally! Can't remember the score from last week!!!
