To the Epping spectator who fat-shamed the Hawks player 3-4 times at Boronia today, you need to do better. Ask yourself why none of your team mates were laughing.
Just want to make mention of the short kings at west penno for being top of the table in both grades and still having to time waste and fake injury to snake a win. Definitely not up to standards of Kenthurst of old. Special shout-out to the elf in reserve grade for using gay slurs and insults.. the projection is loud

I don't know what happened to west penno this year, maybe the winning has gotten to their heads.
They used to be a good team to play. Even when you inevitably lost to them you didn't mind because they're a good team and they play fair and were nice on and off the field. And didn't really have anything to say on the forum because their winning did the speaking for them.
But fuck are they the biggest bunch of gronks ever this year. They're turning into kenthurst.
Whoever said they're not up to the standards of kenthurst is right.
An anonymous forum will inevitably mean people shit-talk under the guise of another team so please take any comments with a grain of salt, you're probably being trolled and by getting triggered and biting back you're just adding fuel to the dumpster fire. And just to add, anyone who actually played against Kenthurst at KP2 wouldn't be describing them and their supporters as nicely as you put it, maybe time has softened your memory
Fair play to wph who took the three points. But can any other teams vouch for the type of football they usually play because for a team who is being hyped up we were expecting to have to absorb a lot of pressure without the ball but wph played the most scrappy , structureless football we've faced this year. They had grit but this passing football was not to be seen. That's for sure

Name a single team that can play quality football on your cow paddock, I'll wait.
I'm not really sure what qualifies as "good football" in people's minds.
I presume you mean tiki-taka. Maybe I'm wrong.
WPH have scored the most goals, conceded the least number of goals. In most circles that would be considered "good football". At the very least they have easily won the most points. In most circles that would be considered "effective football".
I would therefore hazard a guess that the football they play is "better" and "more effective" than anyone else.
I'm thinking that is probably enough to keep them happy.
I don't know about you but if long ball kick and chase is effective and wins games I'd rather do that and win trophies than play "good" football, by your opinion, and come 6th. Sometimes the most effective isn't the prettiest but it gets results. Just ask Kenthurst, it served them really well for a few seasons.
Boot it long > kick and bash everyone with a different colour shirt > profit

Good football in the same sentence as any conversation about the quality of football in the comp, hahahahaha. When was the last time you saw any more than 5 passes strung together.

Every year is the same with normo, battle it out on their shit bouncy dustbowl they call a football pitch.. then dominate them at home. And if they manage to scrape their way into the top 4, dominate them at Christie...

It's pretty easy to see the comments from the actual teams as they talk about specific things that happened in the match.
And No-one described kenthurst supporters nicely...

I don't know why everyone in this league is obsessed with keeping possession and playing good football
Too many coaches and players are more worried about fluffing around with the ball at the back than scoring goals. It doesn't matter how the ball goes in the back of the net it just matters if you do it more than the other team.
Every week someone would come on here after losing to kenthurst and try to talk shit about how they just kick it long. But they understood that you don't need to play 'pretty' football you just need to win and that's why they dominated for so long.
Correct. It's like complaining when you lose a boxing match to an ugly person but you should have won because you're prettier. You still got knocked out.
