Just so we are super clear as to the reallocation of games this weekend.

Waterloo Park is now hosting AA14 @ 1pm and the main event is AA9
Campbell Park is now hosting O45/5 @ 1pm and the main event is AA5
Hayes Park has nothing(both grounds from 12pm)
Normanhurst Oval is hosting Womens O35/2 @1pm and the main event is AA4 Womens@ 3pm
Eastwood Oval has nothing (both grounds)

Just want to give the association a really huge shout out. Well done.

No only are they going to force us to play a double header in June for the queens bday(which i will laugh so hard if it's washed out), but they have 7 perfectly good grounds potentially( Hayes 1,Hayes 2, Eastwood 1, Eastwood 2,North Epping Oval,LH Waud,Boronia) ovals open and playable.

FFS like i said, even i can make this work and i'm a dumb tradie.

To add to this Normanhurst oval has no games scheduled at all on Saturday

u sounded like a genius but. . .

Grounds are closed - EPPING, EASTWOOD etc

https://www.ryde.nsw.gov.au/Recreation/Parks-and-Sportsgrounds/Sportsground-Status

Even when Ryde council didn't close Eastwood - the club chose to close it last weekend

ok, Ryde is closed.

But it looks like more than enough grounds are open to reschedule games.

Just an admin headache it seems. Rather keep the O45 competition turning over. I suppose thats where their sponsors come from.

some comps like 045s o35s or AA have teams which played only 2 matches so far -

So priority for the assoc. is to catch these up asap.  How many games have the PL/SLs played so far?

Ya can't have teams playing 2 matches by Round 8. It's crazy.

Your point is not valid Mug.

Everyone can play. Just allocate them to grounds which arn't being used.

Or play O45/O35/AA on Sat/Mon on the June long weekend.

>>Or play O45/O35/AA on Sat/Mon on the June long weekend.

Then you will turn around & yell: "Why is Long w/e reserved for  O45/O35/AA ....."

>>Everyone can play

correct. Just grab all the playable fields on weekdays - ring up the Compman & propose

It's common sense bud. PL/SL are the ONLY teams scheduled to play a double header on the long weekend, which means there are plenty of "free" grounds including the synthetic pitches.

Happy to play midweek too, but that should probably be reserved for Reserve grade who have only played 5 games.

it's just F^&*ng stupid that not even reserve grade are playing. So dumb....

Still can't understand why reserve grade aren't playing one of their make up games tomorrow.

check dribl. Looks like every grade is playing on that Monday now not just PL and SL.

I wonder how many referees are going to put their hand up to work on that Monday? I'm no genius but perhaps it would've made sense to keep tomorrow as it was and play the catch ups on that Monday... unless they are banking on a whole heaps of forfeits :)
