Tough game, both teams looked exhausted throughout. Rovers jag an early goal from a goalkeeping error and bad bounce. Score a second off a corner and go in to half time 2-0. Second half didn't take chances to make it 3 or 4, and hung in for a 2-0. Normo threatened early first half and then faded after 20 mins or so, no real shots on goal after the first 20. 85 min free kick gets deflected into the top bin, own goal. Burst of energy from Normo sees them push for an equaliser, which they get off of a short corner to the back post at 90+2. More a case of points dropped for Rovers probably overall after failing to take their chances second half. Rovers keeper didn't have a save to make all second half, as Normo registered none (or maybe one) shots on target, other than the headed goal in stoppage time
Putney need to up their referee retainer, nothing was going their way so they had two players have a lay down in protest complaining they hurt their fannies.

Didnt impact the game because Putney were deserved winners but that first half refereeing performance in FG was horrendous and for both sides. Second half was different and thankfully so.
watched my son play ressies for Putney, bloody refs costing us again, I swear if we could just once get some unbiased refereeing in this competition we could have had, for example, 7 more goals to change the result.

disrespectfully they couldnt put more than 3 normal passes together before they lost it
Does anyone post anything worthy in here or have anything constructive to say about any of the matches or is it just full of trolls with nothing better to do?

I'd disagree with this observation.
Thought Penno was able to put more passes together than Putney. Thought both teams used the full width of the pitch well and the wingers particularly were relied on heavily for attacks.
Pennos CB costed them 3 goals with poor passes and Putneys quick counters got them the 3 points.
Agree with one of the earlier comments, some strange refereeing occurred. Non existent back pass, the softest penalty given and one of Pennos goals you could argue there was a full on push on the Putney defender. No flow to the game whatsoever.
There must not be any new refereeing talent coming through because the same refs doing first grade are the same ones doing it 15 years ago.

EEW had several players away and were the dominant team for the most part just couldn't capitalise.
