First Grade
Epping FC (7) vs. Macquarie Uni SC (9)
Does anyone even care about this game? Epping will no doubt be tired from stacking their ressies side again in the early game, whilst Uni couldnt keep their season alive after slumping to a narrow loss to HFC. A toss of the coin here, but the slick West Epping pitch should see the home side prevail.
Prediction: Epping FC 3-1

Northern HFC (8) vs. St Patricks FC (3)
HFC sealed their spot in the 2020 SL completion last weekend but they will need some serious recruiting in the offseason unless they want to remain at the foot of the table (which they might enjoy for all I know). Pats have been all over the place lately and it doesnt seem likely they will be back to Christie in that first Saturday in September unless they pull their finger out, starting this weekend. That said even the Santa Rosa pitch wont help HFC, a comfortable win for Pats is on the cards.
Prediction: St Patricks FC 4-1

Redbacks FC (2) vs. Putney Rangers FC (6)
Having clinched the double chance last weekend the Carlingford crew should pick up maximum points on Saturday, but with a finals campaign around the corner might be tempted to rest 1 or 2 players with one eye on Ryde Saints in a fortnight. Putney claimed an unexpected but fully deserved win last weekend and whilst they cant make the finals this year have been an improved massively on previous years. If they can keep the nucleus of the side expect them to make further progress up the table next year
Prediction: 2-2 draw

Thornleigh SC (5) vs. Ryde Saints United FC (1)
Speaking of teams with one eye on the finals, WTF has happened to the Premiers lately? Surely they will have to improve their form or they look likely to be bounced out of the finals in straight sets. Thunder have this season done what Thunder do best, mid table mediocrity. Capable of so much on their day but also capable of dropping points to the tail end of the competition. I thinka tight draw is on the cards with this one.
Prediction: 1-1 draw

Macquarie Dragons FC (4) vs. Bye
Would take a miracle for Dragons to miss the finals, however the Bye in the last round plus no games next week could see the Waterloo based club a little ring rusty come Week 1 of the finals.
Prediction: Dragons 3-0

Reserve Grade
Epping FC (1) vs. Macquarie Uni SC (4)
Hard to see anything but a win for the mouthy twats from Epping. Rested and recharged and full of Red Bull, they should end Unis season with a comprehensive win, provided they dont stack too many of their useless first grade side on Saturday. Uni need a win more than they need a mid-semester break to make the finals, otherwise it could be season over for the students.
Prediction: Epping FC 2-0

Northern HFC (9) vs. St Patricks FC (2)
HFC cant wait for the season to end, and they will get their wish at around 2.50pm on Saturday. Expect them to park the bus as they need to concede less than 6 if they want to avoid the 100 goals against make for the season. Pats ground out a hard fought scoreless draw last weekend but Im sure the back of the net will be bulging regularly on Saturday as they lock down a top 2 spot and will no doubt give Epping a run for their money in week 1 of the finals.
Prediction: St Patricks 7-0

Redbacks FC (8) vs. Putney Rangers FC (7)
Redbacks have probably been the biggest disappointment in 2019. Perennially around the top 4 in recent seasons it just hasnt clicked for the spiders this year. A win on the weekend and a few results going their way could see them just a few positions but that would be small consolation. Likewise Putney could jump as high as 5th with a win and results going their way which wouldnt be a bad results for a side that hasnt done much damage in recent years. Both sides can find the back of the net so Im predicting a high scoring affair at George Thornton.
Prediction: Redbacks 4-3

Thornleigh SC (5) vs. Ryde Saints United FC (6)
All to play for on Saturday for both teams. Thunder claimed an important draw with Redbacks whilst Saints unset Dragons in a high scoring game at Waterloo. Mathematically both teams could move up to 4th with a win, so expect a draw that end both teams seasons.
Prediction: 0-0 draw

Macquarie Dragons FC (3) vs. Bye
Dragons will be hoping for a miracle at Santa Rosa so they could finish top 2 after totally missing finals last season.

All the best to everyone this weekend, may the best teams win.
