An intriguing final round of Super League this weekend.

No First Grade team has anything besides pride to play for with the top 4 seemingly set in stone.

No less than 4 teams can scrape into the finals in Ressies.

EPPING FC vs MACQUARIE UNI
First Grade game taking a back seat here as Uni look to stack their Ressies to try and get a win to secure a Ressies finals spot against the young and all-conquering Epping FC side

NORTHERN HFC vs ST.PATS
Pats will look to secure 3rd position in First Grade and try and find some form before the finals after taking a single point in total from their last three games.
Pats need a win in Ressies to secure 2nd place and a double chance

REDBACKS vs PUTNEY
Both First Grade teams in fine form but ultimately nothing to play for here.
Putney will look to stack their Ressies again and notch a finals spot win a win here

THORNLEIGH vs SAINTS UNITED
Saints have hit a couple of speed bumps by their lofty standards over the last couple of weeks. They wont want another one going into the finals not having won a game since July 20.
Thornleigh need to win First Grade by 11 goals.
The Ressies game is the game of the year on paper with both teams in a shootout for a finals spot

MACQUARIE DRAGONS
Bye

Play hard but fair :)

Has Epping now hindered their chances of doing the double in reserve grade? Depending on what players have played too many games, they may be in a bit of trouble during the final series. I'm sure they're strong enough to cope either way. Redbacks don't deserve to be in the position they are in reserve grade. They are a strong team and must have had some tight results! Everyone seems to have found form at the right time. I'm tipping Saints to beat Thornleigh, but Putney to beat Redbacks and make the finals. Putney will definitely stack their ressies as they seem like that type of team. Hopefully not with the players that lost 2-0 to Epping. With the only 1st-grade spot "up for grabs" being 4th place, I'm saying that Thornleigh will beat the premiers by 12 goals and make a miraculous jump into the finals. Simon Dill, not having a win since July 20 is only 2 weeks, and against the 2nd and 4th placed teams, but agreed, they can't afford another hiccup entering the finals.

Putney Ressies are now 5th on the table given that that their game with Epping became a forfeit because of regulations around playing first team players too many times in consecutive games. This is massive as Putney are in a leading spot to gain 4th place with a win against Redbacks. Expecting JP, Candy and a couple of others to play and help gain a 4th place. Was not expecting how close Ressies 4th spot was going to be. Massive games on the weekend.
