Who will be the first coach sacked in 2015?? Some may say the WPH coach who is winless but that won't happen as he was left with half a team after the departure of kiwi and a number of there best players. The Y coach is from all reports highly qualified and keeps his job on pedigree alone. My money would be on the PHD coach. Young and already out of favour with some of the senior players who are gunning for him. A lesson to be learnt and that is never appoint an arrogant tool who thinks he is better than Alex furgeson as a coach but has done ZIP. chow bella.

But not sure what you are referring to in respect to using other alias names to post . I only do that these days when I'm trying to take the Micky out of my team mate fruit. I feel PHD will still finish second anyway. With a playing roster like they have and plenty of depth anything less would be a disaster and waste of a season. Kenthurst will win again.

Your management is super impressive when 5 players say sack the coach or we will leave and the PLAYERS win out. What a mess. Nothing in 50 years then finally a GF and Premiership but I would be guessing another 50 years before any more joy ..... That being said the best BBQ in the GHFA.

Just logged in to see where fruit was off loading me for the remainder of the season. Not me doing the posts above. My bro not getting the coaching gig at Ravens was great as I'm playing with him again but it did mean that DB went elsewhere as they are good mates and he was a huge loss. Surprising the coach got the boot as results in early rounds were ok.

Rick,

We all loved your brother at the Ravens...we still do...he was a great coach and is a great guy but unfortunately he wasn't able to come to a lot of training sessions due to other commitments (completely understandable) last season and no doubt that played a part in them choosing a different coach.

PHD in turmoil. The coach thinks he is the Chelsea boss after coaching reserve grade PHD last year and winning nothing. Greg smith faced with a tough decision of sacking a coach he appointed. Big mistake from such an astute man putting a kid in charge. A big name coach would have brought a title and nothing short of that would be a FAIL. Now a top 4 finish is there aim. Lose the playing group = disaster.

I know Rick GIO but would love to know how the hell he gets a mention in a post that is nothing to do with either Ravens or Pennant Hills. If you are obsessed by him go watch him play for 35/1's Penno. He's the fat one up front next to fitter younger Boz he tells me.

That would have to be the worst post ever on the GHFA forum. No relevance but GIO probably doesn't care about the banter as he gets its from his GK on the forum all the time. I agree club in turmoil. Results don't lie and injuries mean ZIP when you have more depth than any other team in the comp. The reality is that they are going worse for a wanta be coach who according to him should be the OZ coach.

Thanks Rock. I know I'm old and sore after playing for only 50 minutes on the weekend. That being said it's a more interesting comp with EEW and PEN going really well and KEN and PHD not dominating like they were last year. Still like KEN to win the title.

My comment was about how the comp seemed more interesting and competitive now that KEN and PHD were slightly off there game at present. That's all.

The PHD coach has no clue. In a number of games this year the game has been in the balance and he has no idea what to do i.e. who to take off, what formation to change, etc, etc. The old PHD with Greg in charge would have been leading this competition with Kenthurst a couple of yards behind the high standard they have set in previous years. If they get out of this horrible position it will be purely the playing group and not the fool steering the ship. Cocky, young and INEXPERIENCED is not a good mix and the lack of respect that the senior players have for him is showing on his face. He may survive until seasons end but he lacks imagination to be a good coach.

Obviously you are getting plenty of game time Unicorn. You must be a true mate as every other person watching his every move can see that PHD are not where they want to be and it's easy to blame injuries and suspensions and XMAS parties and work functions but ONLY one person can be held ACCOUNTABLE and that's the CHOSEN ONE. Why is Dundo not there when he has mates at the club. Smell the roses champ and get your head out of his A__. It may help the teams performance as you will be heading in the same direction.

What would you no kiwi if I'm an ex player or first grader or ressies player. Only one true fact and that is he is clueless. Why is Dundovic elsewhere? Does he not gave a couple of his best mates at the club. He is a tool and Greg like you said is clever and would realise it. Problem is if you fire the fool you hired you too look the fool. Interesting to see what Greg does as playing group is split.

All this continual talk of Ravens and Pumas coaching staff smells a bit odd. Its kind of like a certain team is trying to deflect attention from their poor start. Could it be the Kenhurts team that almost went undefeated last season and have now lost 2 within the first 6 and sitting 5 points off the summit? Could it be the Y that are trying to avoid a yo-yo or could it be WPH... a team with only 1 point after kiwi gutted them?
