Tough matchup, but good performance by the lads. Gotta say though PHD were unlucky. Sets up a mouthwatering QF prospect with most of the big dogs winning through so far.
Can't believe Kenthurst reserves won 5-0. Looks like the sainties put out their AA18 side. But I heard their 1sts won by 10 in the FA Cup, so it makes sense to rest them.
think youll find there were a lot of reserves playing in both pumas and ken teams last night. pumas definitely had a lot of first graders not playing. not taking anything away from wph win but id say it will be a completely different result in their competition game. another year of all promises from phd and no silverware. ken looked to be going through the motions last night with a mixed team by the looks of it. they even had a field player, nefer seen him before in goals for the whole game.

Roided?
How were the numbers for the 8:30am game on a Wednesday? Is that the reason STA lost? I heard the lines at Eastwood centrelink were pretty short that morning
Pretty obvious that EEW are the team to beat this year along with the bush pigs.
So no need to get too upset STA, you just have to realise your not what you once were!

At the start of the game, the refs decided to allow Thunder to have 12 players on the pitch so the game would be a close affair. So it must be said, well done to the mighty Ravens for putting up such a gallant effort against all the odds; hold your heads up high as losing to an average SL team makes sense now that this information is out in the public domain.
