Happy New Year. Epping YMCA FC will begin Premier League training and trials on the 27th of January, with a final squad to be settled in mid February. 6pm at the Y (Ward Street, Epping). We are also looking for a head coach for the season, with the potential for this to be a paid position dependent on experience. We would also be interested in hearing from AA sides looking to make the step up into PL. Email Mitch @ [email protected] for further details.

Isn't that a bit late to not have a coach in place. Considering how well you went last year, where did last years coach go.

Changes to work & family has meant he can't commit this season.

An opportunity for a group of young players who want to stay together but step it up to a Premier League squad at YMCA this season. If interested please contact Mitch @ [email protected]

Have the players to be a top 4 side with a good coach.

Breaking news off the printer. D Batten is taking over to YMCA gig. In a comment to the hills shire times, he says " I've done most things in the ghfa but feel I have a lot more to give. The YMCA group have made finances available to myself and the squad which will prove to be critical to be successful. Any players who want to get onboard the batten wagon come down to the west epping warriors." I think we can all welcome the only ghfa star who has gone platinum back to premier league and the ghfa.

Retired from playing yes, but not from coaching.

He has so much to give, can only imagine how the west epping boys will go this year with batts on top

Tonight's session cancelled. Will now be 5:30pm at Y this coming Sunday. Coach has been appointed. Whilst Batts would have been a great appointment he opted to play instead. We're very happy with the guy we've secured though. Trialists welcome this Sunday.

Haha, in 2010 Batts opted to "play" for Kenthurst and it took him less than half a season to undermine and try and overthrow a coach that had already won a grand final the year before and was sitting either 1st or second that year. Good luck to this new Y manager whoeve he is dealing with Batts ego and antics.
