I can not believe that the KEN keeper chose to play REP CRICKET when the COC final was on the same day. Juice could not play as the squad was already picked before the COC had begun. Jump on the defence boys but poor form and he obviously chose rep cricket over his mates.

And Rep cricket is still not in the early rounds - poor form indeed.

Really ? 1. Why is not feasible cricket is this kid's number ONE sport and he is committed to that team at this time of year. If it is REP cricket, then they would demand a higher level of commitment than Park Football, regardless of whether it is early in the season or not! . Must have been a tough decision - but one he had to make. 2. Given it is the most specialist position in a team, and you allowed a reasonable sized squad to name, my thoughts are that KEN should have included Juice as part of the CoC squad? After all, any injury/suspension to a GK would leave every squad in the same position. BTW - well done KEN on making the GF and having a 'red hot go at it' boys.

Kenthurst had the same keeper that played in the semis. He used to be their First grade keeper until he got injured. That game Juice was on the bench. He is a good keeper but I thought he was also a cricketer. Well done kenthurst. With ravens making the final and now kenthurst it Shows what a strong association we play in.

To be fair, it's 1st Grade cricket and at the end of the day it is still only park football. I'm sure Kenthurst would have loved to have had him I don't think the boys would be off him for choosing cricket especially as it is a higher level.

As for the other posts, Pup is an enormous reason 1st grade won the premiership let alone making the finals of CoC. Many of his saves, both quality and timely, secured 1st grade wins throughout the season and two cracking saves in the GF on near full time ensured the game went into extra time where we all know what the outcome was. He made similar contributions in the round stages of CoC. He is a quality athlete that just happens to be as good if not better cricket player, than a footballer of which he is class to begin with. Nobody at KEN begrudges Pup for his committment to grade cricket where his team stands a good chance in the finals for that level's T20 competition. His contributions to that team are just as significant as they were to KEN 1st grade and let's not forget cricket season is well under way. KEN's success comes on the back of a squad not an individual. This is evident with 25 blokes turning up to training in as late as October to help 1st grade get where they did in CoC. I don't know how many other teams would have that level of support and committment so deep into post season. The above post from "Fair play" sums it up enough. Enjoy the off season folks...
