ages in super league and premier league teams can vary depnding on the coach, most teams like players between 22-30, however many teams play player much young, i started in super league at 17, provided its not as good as pl so its and easier transition into mens football, some team can have players which are older, or the other way around
anyone else disagree?
Now its much younger and plenty of teams have 17-18 yr olds, a few times younger if you dredge someone up later in season from junior sides when ranks start to thin out. Ten years ago, the average age of PL was much older, say 25-27, with likes of some Iredales, Bats, morro etc playing well into their 30s, so tended to have older mates also playing etc. i think Kent is getting like this so maybe there's a change happening there now. All in all, teams tend to be younger now than 10 yrs ago.

pretty sure bushboys have been saying they have 40 in their squad the whole year so thats 25 over 30
and the youngest team this year from what i saw was normo i reckon half their team is under 20
Good mixture of youth and experience. Probably more experience than youth and that probably has a lot to do with their success. Everyone keeps saying their old legs will fail but can argue they're one of the best amateur teams in the state this season. Can't arguing with results.
