Don't take the piss and answer this question trufully. If the Kenthurst coach Was to leave tomorrow and someone new came in and changed a few things around would they still win the comp and GF in 2015.

Trophies are attractive. Just ask Pumas.

Look at the playing roster at Kenthurst. If they didn't win there would be questions asked. That squad should win the champions of champions without doubt.

Ok yeah they have a great roster but they only train once a week and some player can only train the one night. But if the new coach changes to two nights will that effect the roster. Also the Pumas have a new coach and his in his mid 20s will that effect their roster.

But take nothing away from the job the coach (SM) has done over the last 4 or 5 years. It's not easy keeping everyone happy when they are not playing first grade and would be in just about every other team in the comp. The art of being a good coach is keeping the squad of 30 odd players tight and he does that as good as any which is why so few players leave Kenthurst once they arrive. Proof is in the pudding and results speak for themself.

If the coach left kenthurst there wouldn't be a roster.... It's that simple.... They play because of him and for Him.... Ask any bloke in the squad even the blokes on the bench. As the meerkat would say.... Simples!

So your saying if SM left and a new gaffer comes in and changes things players would leave. That means their playing for him not the club correct.

The bulk of the bushboys squad have been mates for 20 + years. We play for our mates and always have. The culture in the current squad has been built over the last 11 years but the friendships have been built up over a lifetime. Sean is one of those mates as well as the coach which is why he has been so successful building and keeping the squad together. Roods is his best mate for example and he orchestrated his return to the club. Players like Goldy and Wrighty have also played for him previously. Most of us have our best mates in the team. If he ever decided he had had enough, someone internally would put their hand up. Batts tried to be the outsider that changed things and look how that turned out.

Regarding Gaffa, What else needs to be said bar he Coached a Squad to The Double Double and deserves the accolades. Very hard managing 40 different personas, keeping them successful on and off the pitch and still keeping 40 Lads happy. Enjoy the offseason Lads:)

not that hard

its not that hard to coach a team full of superstars... seriously, if you look at his bank roll, his roll call and the muppets he was up against week in week out it's like Real Madrid vs La-Liga Div 3 each week. Let's see how good he really is if he can coach them to a COC win. if not, he is just another coach thats managed to coach a firsts and reserves win and there are many who have done that. Prove it Sean, the so called GAFFA and win COC, then we will all shut up.... and NG, do u really have to bite? these people really just want your autograph! Just give them what they want!

Whilst it was an amazing effort for kenthurst to win the comp I think it was quite close. When we played the pumas we all thought they were a better side and have been the best side for the last couple of years. Kenthurst don't play the best footy but are effective. Good luck to them in coc. It would be great for a ghfa side to win it after ravens going close a while back.
