not many teams like to be shuffled UP. WOuld you pay to play if you're beaten 10 zip every week.

Why didnt GHFA arrange the O35's more evenly ? Seems pretty easy to shuffle teams upward to form 8-team divs. Div 1 shouldnt have the bye. They could leave that for the lowest div. Div 1) 7 teams 2) 6 3) 8 4) 8 5) 10 6) 8 7) 8

I doubt that would happen in this case. Div 1 lost two teams, including the prems/champs EEW. They promoted the top three from div 2. So basically every div gets a little weaker but its a better/more even comp.

The GHFA nominated even numbers and as mentioned in another thread teams lobby to get demoted because at that age I guess getting beat by a half dozen isn;t fun. So in short don't blame the GHFA it is the teams that refuse to play up!
