while these players may be stand out players for the clubs, how can anyone from YMCA or Eew have any affect on who wins the premiership, they have absolutely no chance. The 4 teams with the best chance are Kent, Penno,PHD and maybe thorns.

"Kurt (Penno)

Knippler (Kent)
Ben Pike (Thorns)
Damo suplina (Thorns)
Michael Mouyis (Eew)
Julian Miller (Ravens)

These ten will all make significant impacts on the competition for different reasons.

These players are the only players names you know of so you list them

You havent listed a single PHD player, nor have you listed a single NER player.

Its a completely rubbish list .

They would be the top ten players above to make an impact.
Phds left winger smith is the only other noteable absentee from the list.

No Damo should be there..

And "top ten" i would have to disagree with you immsensely.

There is no Mcguiness in that list and he is KEN best player, There is also no Zammit in that list for KEN, No Avo,No Tulloch, No Dax, No Gareth Wright, No Luksic... All those players are much more important for their club. especially Mcguiness, Tulloch, Dax and Luksic.

the hole penno team and kenthurst team players are the players to watch they do the job, week in and week out

smith phd

all these players are the stand outs.

Fair to say that the only team left in PL who has been consistent and deserves recognition is penno.
No other team has been consistent in previous years or won it.
Then st andrews and normanhurst till last year.
The rest dont deserve any specialities as they have not won the premiership.

Stand out players outside of this are the following:

Kurt
Gray
Boz
Luksic
Tulloch
Damo suplina
Smith
Avon

I believe Gareth Wight is out of the country this year, playing cricket in Europe. The Tigers midfield will struggle this season.

Gareth is overseas for a holiday with his misses. No cricket what so ever.

No mention of Turner I believe he will be with EEW
or Pearce McGuinness & Jimmy McLaughlin form KEN

Gray is a "has-been" and will have no influence on this years comp

Best in competition:

Kurt (Penno) Mid
Boz (Penno) striker
Gray (Kent) defender
Damo suplina (Thorns) mid
Michael Mouyis (Eew) striker
Tulloch(thl) keeper

Kurt - Best centre midfielder the competition has seen for past five years. Is the heart beat at penno. But will he go down as the coach who couldnt get his team to ever win it all.

Boz - Deadliest striker in the league in recent times but doesnt like it tough. Will score most goals again this year.

Gray - Well past his best and is more into his coaching, However for this level of soccer he is still the best organisational defender in the competition and is the fiercest competitor in the league.

Suplina - Has steered thl into a premiership threat and with his coaching success last year expect him to guide thunder to the top of the tree in future years.

Mouyis - Hardest player in competition. Will benefit from last year and become eew's top marksman.

Tulloch - Best keeper in league and has done it all with an average defense in front of him. Expect a different bunch this year.

Talk is Cheap ....... actions speak louder than words ..... a much closer comp in 2010 with Penno still the benchmark closely followed by Kenthurst with a few others including PHD and WPH closing the gap.

Player to watch in 2010 .... Boz

I think its about time the league goes into its transition faze from the likes of Kurt, Grey, Bozza and Damo as there all getting on now to a new breed from teams like pacific hills, thornleigh and kenthurst.

Expect this to happen this year with many new faces stepping up.

As soon as new teams start to win things then they will become the whos who of GHFA.
