Is the double the only way to prove your the top dog or is it by jut winnin the premiership?
Who has won the comp in the last 5 years and who has won the double in the past 5 years?

Correct me if I’m wrong but the doubles from the last 5 years include:

2005 - STA First's & Ressies

2006 - Normo Firsts

2007 - STA Ressies

2008 - STA Ressies

2009 - STA Ressies

Normo firsts in '08.

There does appear to be a small pattern in these stats. and from one of the quieter teams.

I just find it interesting that only two teams have won a double in either grade the past 5 years.

Has a any other team won more than one trophy in a season apart from STA or Normo. Possibly a team might have won the State Cup or champs of champs and one of the 4 ghfa has on offer?

I reckon that Normo might have a chance of winning a double this year?

NER did the double in 2003 and Penno in 2000. Both first grades. No choke then.
