Played up front in ressies on the weekend so probably another attempt from a certain club to stir the pot. He will not be either ressies or firsts starting keeper and yes Phantom before you reply me and Vella will suck up front in ressies but such is life

Vella will go ok upfront and will put away a few goals, but blind Freddy can tell you that he is a better keeper than Jimmy. Everyone at Penno knows this, but credit to Kurt for sticking with an inferior keeper.

Duck, you seem to be a little touchy. Is everything ok?

Phanto's Mate,

Duck didnt get any tips yesterday, so may be a little touchy. I dont know about Kurt 'sticking' with an inferior keeper, as it would seem more like respecting the wishes of a good clubman (Vell) and letting him play on the park. This is more about what Vell wants, not Morro (as long as his performance justifies selection).

BTW Duck, just cos you are banging in goals left, right and centre for Ressies in these trail games, we still want you in O35's and we are prepared to keep the tips flowing. That of course will cease if you decide to stay with Prems. Can't be sharing too much wealth!

Yes Phantom's mate, my budget had been increased and we have no stock to sell so very touchy at the moment.....back to vegemite sangers next month i think!!

Old Penno the tips i've been getting have been on fire but 1 goal is no season but am curious all this talk about Boz when clearly i'm best striker at Penno!!

Expect pennant hills not to make the top four this year.
Lots of off-season losses and an ageing squad.
Young squads coming through will top them off this year
Expect the better side of the hills in west penno to get back to were they belong.

Ash flew back into the country last week. Pretty sure he won't be appearing in the GHFA anytime soon though - especially while $$ are still being offered for his services in NSW premier league.

Care to substantiate the 'lots of off-season losses'?
Penno's squad will be one of the youngest in the league this season

PHD have picked up approx 7 ex state league players

WPH a lot stronger and great younger players coming through

Ravens have picked up no one. Actually have lost the heart and sole of there team in Luksic. Them or YMCA to go down.

No one comes close to what pacific hills have on paper this year.

Will they find let there playing do the talking.

why's that?

Do PHD think that other players from other teams haven't played state league, premier league or even nsl?

As stated in a previous post, playing GHFA prems at an age when you should be playing first grade state league doesn't mean you're a good player - it just means you couldn't hack it where you came from.

Huh, you like all the other knockers have to get over your own lack of ability and the fact that this level of football is the pinnacle of your career, and realise that the players who have dropped back do so because of work,UNI, commitments or simply because they want to have a kick around with their mates and train i night a week only.It makes me laugh that all the experts who bag the higher leagues are normally no talent wanna bees.
