get on board the tiger train..... 3 wins and a draw from past 4 games..... if they beat STA and YMCA on Sat and sunday... they'll be 2 points off 4th....

Now that would be bullshit if that happened.. you would then have THL, NER and ROS all better teams than EEW below them!!! The top four is sealed, STA or WPH would have to lose most games to get knocked out and the others win all their games, lets be realistic here...

Same points + Same goal difference then falls back on Goals for, just like it is now. Both teams have the same goal difference but Pen is on top as they have more goals for. Someone correct me if I am wrong..

Actually, I believe it is on goals for before goal difference. Sounds funny I know, but I recall hearing that around the traps.

from the GHFA website: In all Premiership Competitions the team with the greatest number of Competition Points at the completion of the competition proper shall be Competition Premiers. Should there be teams equal on points at the end of the competition then their position shall be decided on goal difference (ie goals against subtracted from goals for). If goal difference is the same the team with the greatest number of goals scored for shall be the premiers.

Raven Mad...You need to win 2 games out of the next 4,and hope the Y lose all 5 of their games. You have 3 games against teams who have already beaten you this season, and thornleigh who are now in alot better form than when you beat them...considering you have won 1 in 14, it is a massive ask.

Hey Vulture, Don't be so sure. There is still plenty of points up for grabs this season. Ravens have turned the corner against NERds on the weekend and will soon catch the Villagers. There is no way they can repeat their upset on the weekend.

Phantom... please explain your reasoning..... EEW beat THL 3-1 in their only encounter so far. NER and EEW both beat each other once with only a goal separating the teams each time. and the tigers beat Roselea on the weekend (again 1-1 for the season) and dominated the game. I would think that all 4 teams are in and around the same level and by season end we will see as a fair representation exactly in which order....

Interesting... could be a record number of points needed to claim the title this year. I think WPH finished with 39 in 04? With 4 games left I think 40 points is needed to be premiers. It may be a similar repeat of 03 when Normo took it out by goal difference over WPH.

Plus they had 5 sent off from the weekend so either they wont be playing their reserve grade game or they will have guys backing up for both grades.

Oh please Ravens Mad. We missed an open goal with 20 to go riding comfortably at 2-1 up. Never looked like coughing up the points, until scoring an own goal without a Raven in kicking distance of the ball. You never looked like getting any points. Once again we shot ourselves in the foot. Sabateurs everywhere at the NERds...
