One of the biggest questions being talked about on the street is, did North Epping bring corona to the PL to give them a shot at staying up this season.

With Ryde Saints on the climb and North epping on the slide, it makes alot of sense.

Season to be null and voided as lockdown won't be lifted.

Sorry Mac Dragons it was fun while it lasted.

WPH, RSU & NERDS breathe a sigh of relief

Hawks, Normo and STA must feel average

The rest of the teams probably happy with that outcome

Baloney. They are meeting next week to discuss possibilities for each prospective return date.
This could mean playing a couple of rounds then a GF or just have a GF Day.
Nothing has been decided yet

I spoke to Mal Arnold and he said Null and Void was discussed. The only fair outcome with at least 7 games left for some clubs!

Yep, its gotta be voided if lockdown extends. Way too early in the season to just say lets maybe play 2 games and then do a final, plus after a considerable break it doesn't make sense physically to just throw players back into it like that.

Do you people honestly think this lockdown will end with enough time to play even a handful of games? You’re delusional. This won’t be ending until Sept/Oct.

Pin this post and quote me when the voided season is announced!

Better luck next year lads

Its over. They decided not to risk playing again this year. Debate is whether to end seasons standings after round 9 or whether to include the other 3 round played and as things stand.

Also debating as to whether a team is crowned Champions and whether Ryde Saints get relegated.

Mal Arnold indicated null and void the most likely scenario which given there is still 7 rounds left for a handful of teams, 6 for most, seems like the reasonable approach

Lockdowns in their current state can’t and won’t continue regardless of case numbers.

Everyone is going crazy and it affecting lots of people in different ways.

Obviously the Association is guided by and ruled by the NSW Government.

Certain restrictions we are living with currently will start to lift to ensure we ease our way back into “normal” life.

I believe exercise will be one of them and I can see community sport coming back in the coming weeks with restrictions such as no fans, facemasks for coaches, no shaking hands/hugging etc.

As much as we would like this, you would have to think community sport will be one of the last things to return. Given how many people travel from different LGAs.

Its going to be 2022 next time we play
