In all seriousness though, we were all 'rubbing up against each other' last year when we were having over 20 cases a day per week and nothing got cancelled.
We aren't living in VIC so there aint going be crazy decision making here and there.
Should be fine
These latest restrictions are for one week.
Who knows whats in store for us tomorrow.
This and lots of grounds being closed already maybe the Association will postpone the whole round. We still have two washout rou ds up our sleeves.
It should all hopefully settle down next week

my tears are falling onto my cereal bowl for the MacDragons
If the shutdown is extended another 2 weeks you can still play the rounds until 28th August then a 1v2 Grand Final 4th September and that is without any double headers or mid week catch up games.
Lockdown hinted to end on time. Assuming it does on the 9th, will it be likely the association will play the round on the 10th? With no training or games having been done for what would be 3 weeks by the time the 10th rolls around?
scomo has a lot to answer for denying the mighty kenthurst another title to add to the cabinet he will be hearing from my solicitor what an outrage we are the best team in the comp by a country mile
to drunk? yes but we were hitting form on the way up and headed for our next trophy if we made champion of champions we wouldve done some damage starting with brookvale

Source? Surely nwsf have to release something soon. Few other associations have already made the call.
MWFA have cancelled the rest of the year. Those on top of the Competition Tables have been made winners of the League. Relegation = 1 x team and 2nd last will have a play off with 2nd from their SL.
Im sorry but it has to be null and void surely.
Some teams had 7 games left! 7!
Dragons lost their last few before the shutdown. Hawks were creeping up.
Teams like Penno & STA had made great improvement as opposed to their slow start to the season. Ryde Saints had an epic comeback win against Nerds.
There was no guarantee as to who was going down, nor that Dragons were definitely gonna win the comp. My point, is that it is all unpredictable and its whoever turns up on the day. You can't guarantee a result, especially at our level.
If there was say 3 matches left for all teams, maybe end it as it is.
But 7 matches, 6 for most, that is up to 21 points still on offer.
Null and void must be the way to go. It is the only fair outcome. That way everyone is guaranteed a proper chance next year.
Same for Super Legaue, no guarantee who was coming up!

Mac had played 12 games for 8 wins and 2 draws.
They beat hawks 4-1.
If they are crowned premiers so be it imo.
Same with pats in sl
we were on our way up too headed for another trophy for the cabinet at least we can get a bigger trophy cabinet from ikea in the offseason watch us take champ of champs next year your all rubbish
They lost there last 2 games? Seemed like they were getting worked out finally or a form lapse?
Hawks may have lost to them earlier in the year like all the other teams but it doesnt mean they wouldve won the rest of their games.
6 games is huge, and if they are crowned winners then it won't be a clean win.
They were only 5 points ahead, two more losses and they could be overtaken.
Not entirely impossible
If the season results stands then we get to boot Ryde Saints back to the SL where they belong, so that's something that everyone should be able to get behind.
haha don't totally disagree with that, Ryde Saints is one place we'd all be happy not to visit, also gotta be fair though and tbh West Penno were just as likely to get relegated the way they were going ;)
Dragons are deserving champions, dominated the 1st half of the season. No other team really looks consistent enough to challenge them.
Understandable not wanting to have relegation since there are 4 teams within 2 points at the bottom, much harder to call what will happen there. Sucks for Pats but lets be honest, who wants to play at Epping boys high anyway

Pats haven't played at Epping Boys for years.
Yes it was a weird season but what we got in i think was really enjoyable.
In the 2/3 of a season we played dragons were the best and most consistent side we played.
It was great to get some new blood in pl and they did amazingly well really.
Hawks too had a fantastic season after a few mediocre ones.
The battle at the bottom wouldve been exciting but that wont happen now.
We look ahead to next season and hopefully back to normal x
I reckon next year's rego numbers will drop significantly if it isn't half-priced.
there is no certainty of playing regular seasons any more even if there no lock downs in Feb/mar.
