Evening gentleman, There’s been an increase in this over the season with directions given to referees now to enforce. Just a reminder re the wearing of jewellery and players believing it can be taped up. From the referee’s direction The Laws of The Game prohibit this. - If a player has tape that can clearly be seen covering jewellery, eg stud earrings or a ring, these must be removed before you can play. - fitness bands such as a fitbit can't be worn on the wrist, even if covered by a sweatband. - GPSs worn under clothing are fine. Bobby pins are also ok. - a medical identification bracelet or necklace is allowed if taped to the body. Just to clarify, you cannot simply tape up jewellery, it must be removed.

Wear at one’s risk I would say as you wouldn’t want to go to ground with a fall and body slide - tape it at worst.

Thanks for the heads up. Anyone who wears jewelry on the field deserves to get kicked!
