WPH Cherrybrook 29 pts (+33GD) – PEN & NER Epping Eastwood 26 pts (+13GD) – RSU & STA Eastwood St Andrews 23 pts (+9GD) – NER & EEW West Ryde Rovers 18 pts (0GD) – EPP & RSU Normanhurst 14 pts (-4GD) – HWK & EPP Ryde Saints United 14 pts (-10GD) – EEW & WRR Pennant Hills 14 pts (-10GD) – WPH & HWK Hills Hawks 11 pts (-3GD) – NMH & PEN North Epping Rangers 10 pts (-14GD) – STA & WPH Epping 10pts (-14GD) – WRR & NMH Top WPH realistically need only 3 point from their last 2 games to secure back-to-back premierships, which should be a formality though they are winless in the past 3 weeks which is a concern. No doubt they would love to sew up the title in their derby game against Penno this weekend. EEW need a miracle to claim the premiership but they certainly have put the pressure on WPH. They can lock-up a GF appearance with 4 points in the next fortnight. STA can still mathematically catch WPH but they won’t make up the 24 goal difference so 2nd is the best they can hope for. They will be looking to bag a hatful against Rangers on Saturday to give their GD the bump it needs which would set-up a last day opportunity to overtake EEW with a win the their derby game. Middle WRR cant make the GF and they cant be relegated. Not much for them to play for except pride in the last 2 weeks. NMH, RSU & PEN can all still be relegated but it seems unlikely that the bottom three will all make up the required points needed for that to happen. NMH have been a bit inconsistent, tough to beat without setting the world on fire. RSU have done great in their first year of PL especially coming off a 9-1 loss in round 1. PEN have been disappointing in 2020 but would love to finish the season by knocking off WPH this weekend. Bottom HWK seem to have really gone backward this year resulting in them being 1 point off the bottom with 2 weeks to go. They would have started the season with aspirations of at least a top 4 finish. Goal difference might save them this year. NER finally lifted themselves off the foot of the table last Saturday (all be it only on goals scored). Scoring goals doesn’t seem to be the issue, keeping them out definitely is. They have the toughest of draws with 2 of the top 3 to round out the season. EPP have been cruising around mid-table all year, but suddenly find themselves last with 2 games to go. 9 goals in 12 games is horrible reading but they have a easier run-in than NER on paper.

Logic would say Tigers will knock in a few against Saints as well. Woodies might need 5 or 6 on Saturday. Not sure if they have the firepower for that many.

Interesting.. If STA win v NER by a number and then beat EEW then they are pretty much guaranteed a spot v WPH in the final.

4 games in the last round will have an impact on the relegation battle, the only dead rubber is the local derby between the 2 Eastwood team, win loose or draw, EEW will Finnish second, to meet WPH in the final. Wow 5 teams can end up on 14 points WPH Cherrybrook 32 pts (+35GD) – NER Epping Eastwood 29 pts (+15GD) – STA Eastwood St Andrews 23 pts (+8GD) – EEW West Ryde Rovers 19 pts (0GD) – RSU Normanhurst 17 pts (-2GD) – EPP Ryde Saints United 14 pts (-12GD) – WRR Pennant Hills 14 pts (-12GD) – HWK North Epping Rangers 13 pts (-13GD) – WPH Hills Hawks 11 pts (-5GD) – PEN Epping 11pts (-14GD) – NMH WHP vs NER EEW vs STA WRR vs STU NOR vs EPP PEN vs HWK As a betting man I would say EPP are going, however Normo do the comp a favour, & keep EPP alive so we can keep an astro ground in PL, Top 4 means nothing this year. It will be a fascinating last round that's for sure!!
