Last night the GHFA voted on the new rules for PL/ SL and have come up with the following rules for the 2020 season. PL: -Each team will play each other once, then after 9 rounds, the remaining fixtures will be generated into 2 pools to play out the remaining games. Pool 1( 1/3/5/7/9) Pool 2(2/4/6/8/10). The Top 2 will proceed to the Grand Final directly. There will be no Semi Finals Any Rained out games will be skipped or replayed if half a round is completed midweek. The Last team in Premier League will be relegated to Super League First grade will be interchange as there has not been adequate time to allow clubs to get players fit enough for first grade. SL: 14 Round comp as per the normal competition. Any Rained out games will be skipped or replayed if half a round is completed midweek. Top 2 will go directly to the GF without Semi Finals being played. Top 1 will have the option to be promoted to PL if they so wish Last place will be relegated to AA1 if there is a nominating team in AA1 First Grade is unlimited interchange What is everyone's thoughts on this?

You play everyone once (9 round), then you will play each team in the other pool one more time (5 games) = 14 games total.

Probably would have made more sense to have top 6 play off and bottom 4 to play off to allow more games, but whatever works.
