I dont know about anyone else but I think this season has been one of the best in recent years. In terms of how close both the finals race and the relegation battle was, very exciting.
Theres a lot of banter on this page which is great but lets honestly give some props to a few teams this year (love em or hate them)
Firstly WPH snagging the double premiership when a few short seasons ago they were facing relegation. Well done, definitely the strongest team this season.
Hawks, basically the cellar dwellars for the first half of the season but managing to do a complete 180 and soaring into the latter part of the season, barely missing out on finals in 1sts and being title contenders in ressies. Was certainly the year that could have been if it werent for the slow start.
Props to both STA and PEN this year, both clubs managing to get both firsts and ressies into finals which is no mean feat, especially in two consecutive seasons.
Normo, backing up after last seasons effort was never gonna be easy but still managed a respectable 3rd in firsts and if it werent for some poor late season form ressies would have been up there too.
A not to honourable mention to RAV, after the lofty highs of 2011/12 its been a slow downhill slide season after season with the mighty black and white licking their wounds in SL next year. Hopefully a short lived trip.
Looking forwards to the finals, hopefully we see as much action as the regular season!

More injured players than usual
Not an excuse .... its the way it goes
Last season very few injuries
With 3 games to go, Normo were facing relegation along with us.
To turn that around to 3rd is nothing short of remarkable. If that meant sacrificing ressies, so be it.
Yeah lets give soame props shall we.
Props to Hawks for not being able to win against NER all season and for the seasons longest winless streak (6 games).
To Normo for not being able to beat NER or EFC in 1sts, for the seasons longest losing streak and for capitulating in ressies and bombing their finals chances.
Props to Penno 1sts for not being able to beat the Ravens either game this year.
Props to WPH for not going undefeated because of WRR of all teams.
Props to EFC ressies for being the only team in both grades to get pumped by 7, not once but twice.
Props to EEW ressies for just being plain terrible.
And biggest props to RAV for being the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
