If memory serves correct this was allowed during Normo v Tigers on the weekend.

As you saw in the recent W World Cup - defenders are allowed to collect the ball inside the box from the goalie but attackers aren't allowed in.

Is this new law official and being currently practiced in our comp?

I was told a couple of weeks back it wasn’t aloud.

This useless law disadvantage the kicking side..but surely the goalie can just kick upfield

This is not yet a valid rule on the ghfa

good rule change

the way the rule was before the defender could just touch the ball inside the box if he was under too much pressure from a bad or slow pass from the keeper and the goal kick would have to be re taken I think this is a good rule adjustment as it doesn't give the attacker any more advantage but doesn't give the defence a chance to exploit the rules

I reckon the best adjustment to the Laws is the one where opposition can get within 2 metres of any wall formation. No more shirt pulling or argy bargies at the wall.. but during corners - can you really form a wall?
