Hawks have to be the worst outfit going around. Absolute pleasure having a walk in the park. Great calling from your bogan on the microphone also haha what an absolute downer that was. Setting yourself up for a loss with that guy.

Wicked Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Too bad no one gives two fucks about ressie While the above is a throw away line, it does feel like the focus on squad vs team has diminished over the past few years. We have seen some quality squads over the recent years - Ken, Sta, Nor but the focus on both grades feels like it's dying. Whoever wrote the above, I wonder how his supposed mates in ressies feel about that?

How? Easy. Play some first graders in ressies knowing that theyre fit enough to back up for first grade, and then get lucky. Simples

ravens almost kept rovers up in pl on saturday were down 2-1 and under the pump for most of the second half only to equalise and then go in front in the last 10 mins going to be a good battle for relagation next saturday

You should be thanking the ref for not sending off #8 after his 3 'last warnings'

Simples Normo had 23 available players on the team sheet on the weekend, 12 in ressies, 11 in first grade, you'd rather they forfeit reserve grade to have 5 fresh subs? Not to mention after injuries there's not enough regular first graders to fill half of one team let alone stack ressies lol

Leon playing in the middle was huge, got a goal and lifted the team. Big result

I think EEW will win the comp but if STA stays in the 4 then they'll win the GF.The hawks and nerds to miss out.

subbies

STA won't win anything. they are old, slow and have nothing going upfront. they rely on there lanky CM to score with his head. WPH and NER join PEN in the 4 with EEW winning the comp

must be joking

can someone please explain what happened in the normo penno game other than nicksy is a grub and they scored more goals did penno get a couple send offs?

Harris
wrote on 19-Jul-17 14:04

No send offs, Penno had full string team on the park (minus the guy who looks to have done his knee) but just didn't compete for long enough. Had some good little periods either side of half time but Normo defended well and kept the ball ticking over in midfield and were clinical in front of goal. Yes Gray should have been sent but i think the ref didnt want to ruin the contest, didnt matter in the end anyway as Normo looked comfortable

maybe they finally realised they need to shoot low its actually quite comical how short their goals are, they have a practice goal on the far side of the oval that is proper size and it is obviously about a meter taller

One goal at Normo is larger than the other. Some teams have worked this out. Not sure Normo haven't noticed yet! Ah but which one is larger?
