Who thinks what teams will be in the finals this year, with such a tight top 6. From what i've seen here is mine

1st Pennant Hils - Probably best alrounded team. Can score goals with a solid defence

2nd Epping Eastwood - Expereince pays dividends in this league. May not be the quickest most attractive side but get the job done more often than not. Can't see them sustaining this run however and hypothesise PH will pip them at the post

3rd Hawks - Hitting form, similiar to PH Hawks have quite a well rounded squad. Expect them in an around top of the table come End of August

4th WPH - Play great attacking football with loads of goals laregely from Kane and very difficult to stop. However they leak goals with a young back four and at times have to outscore teams just to win games. With a more experienced, steardy back 4 would defs push for the title.

5th NER - Super league boys were off to a flyer, but can see them dropping down the ladder, during the crunch part of the season. Decent team, but not good enough for title condenders

6th St Andrews - Solid team as per usual that can grind out results, but lack the creativity needed. Will defs push for finals footy this season but can see them missing out

7th - Gladesville - Good upfront with quick attackers and a couple of handy defenders + midfielders. However lack the overall quality to compete with the big boys in the bigger game s

8th Normo - Started off probably as the fittest harrdest team to breakdown. Their inability to score goals however has been their achilles heel and injuries within the squad will see them drop down even further.

9th/10th Mac Uni/WRR - Hard to choose between the bottom 2 teams. Not much quality in either of these sides and much reflect a super league/AA1 team rather than a premier league squad.

sometimes i wonder about the Maccas.. The uni attracts a host of foreign talents - wonder why they are always uncompetitive?

How did hawks manage to get all of their games at home in the last 5 rounds? That has to be advantageous run home Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > pen: hwk (a), nor (a), eew (h), wrr (a), ner (h) > 29 > eew: rav (a), mac (h), pen (a), nor (h), hwk (a), > nor ? 29 > hwk: pen (h), wph (h), nor (h), sta (h), eew (h) > 25 > wph: ner (h), hwk (a), sta (a), rav (h), mac (a) > 22 > ner: wph (a), sta (h), rav (a), mac (h), pen (a), > nor (h) 22 > sta: wrr (h), ner (a), wph (h), hwk (a), rav (h), > mac (h) 20

They play the same amount away in the first round so what does it matter. Penno get to play and train on carpet for the whole season. Isnt that advantageous?

you know Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > playing kick and chase football can also be > advantageous its the best way to play when playing on ghfa grounds kenthurst played kick and chase the whole time they were in pl and won how ever many premierships it showed how useless the tactic was when playing on better grounds in the champion of champions though
