HA! Pretty sure the ref didn't do anything to help when you got lobbed from 35 out but good work! And when you're stupid enough to hit a bloke off the ball in the box you'll rightfully concede a penalty but that's the refs fault too I suppose
Yeah it doesn't help that the ref has a known affiliation with normo, yet still manages to get on the line in reserves and in the centre of firsts each week at Harris rd.
I mean who are we to think he would be biased when his son plays for the reserve grade team at normo.
From what we saw normo are a very good squad, coach should be really proud of you, but quite a few "questionable" decisions including the penalty. You never ever see a goalkeeper yellow carded and penalised for a striker going in on him.
Last season I understand that Normo requested the ref In question be excluded from all Normo prem games
Not commenting on this weekends performance but I understand the club and players prefer not to be refereed by this referee for the simple reason that any misjudgements can be viewed as bias regardless of intentions
Having said this the Hawks poster appears to be a case of a sore loser
Finding this whinging quite funny from both sides here. Finding it hard a referee has that much impact to determine the game on such a level that is being portrayed.
But in response to anonymous and "a case of a sore loser "... wasn't it a draw.
Awkward.
90% of the refs in this comp are sh*t, but we are just a local comp and thats what you have to expect.
in saying that you know the refs have been especially poor this season when tom forrest was the best youve had
Quick correction about the rangers game-ravens missed the one chance they had all game. north epping scored 3 of the 20 attempts on goal they had. 3-0 probably should have been 6 or 7.
Ravens looked worse then WRR. Nothing up front, in the middle or the back. couldn't even score against a NER side who conceded 11 in 3 games.
What changed NERs leaky backline?
its not too hard to defend against the ravens when their defensive midfielder gives the ball to you everytime he gets it
most useless player in the comp weve played so far
without fail every single time he would hold onto the ball for 20 touches and then if he somehow still had possession he would attempt to put the slowest chip dink throughball that never went to one of his team mates
have no idea how they managed to score 5 goals those couple of weeks in a row unless he wasnt playing
Can't help but have a chuckle at these salty Hawks.
1. A combination of Blake in goals and your poor finishing at the death cost you 2 points, not the ref
2. The ref also awarded a lineball backpass decision which led to your second goal but it was close, as was our penalty, don't see us bitching and moaning.
3. The ref in question also reffed our game at Hayes last year which you won 2-0, didn't hear you getting you shit in a twist then now did we.
Suck it up

Clarification.
He was President of Normo Cricket club and sports club but not Football club...maybe a good thing as he obviously doesn't know much about football according to Hawks
This ref gave a Normo player a yellow for diving in the area last year
He had to spend hours on hospital getting stitches in his mouth from the elbow to his face
Not really showing much favour to Normo
Whinge all you like ... we just play football and get on with it

oi thats a bit harsh mate, if you actually knew the ravens youd know that the only reason he gets a start is because hes the the coaches pet and can do no wrong
he puts about 30 through balls a game which have resulted in a resounding 0 assists so far
id be surprised if his passing completion is above 5% when passing forward

well pretty much everyone can see hes the reason first grade are losing every week except the coach
Just to clear up last weekend v Normo.
I think the ref was not the problem. He in my view was pretty fair for both teams.
Normo worked as a unit very well - something their coaching staff and players should be very proud of.
