Who will be relegated. My tip is the Y. Although the league will be turned on its head when everyone goes to Germany for the world cup. Most clubs loosing a few players???

Im tipping EEW for it still, but i suspect i will be wrong and the Y will take it out... and im tipping Mac Uni to come up next season.. I dont think the league will be turned on its head when Germany comes around, although STA losing Pearso during this time will be not so good for them, as their start to the season is not what they probably expected. Roselea wont go close to relegation like most peope thought before the start of the season.

he is due to score (and that's when they `ll lose him)

SO WHAT?
wrote on 27-Apr-06 12:06

So what about Pearso... they have been losing with him and he hasnt scored anyway!

Anyone with half a brain knows he is a quality player... You dont need to score all the time to have an impact mate..

Brain?
wrote on 27-Apr-06 13:06

do YOU have a brain phantom2000? he doesnt need to score to make an impact? he could have "made an impact" during their loss to NHM or THL, but he didnt. What impact has he had this year? maybe pull your head out of his ass and take a good look. I have (at least) half a brain and i have seen nothing of pearso that is impresive, he may have done things in the past but i havent seen them, all i see is the present, very unimpressive. "You dont need to score all the time to have an impact mate.." how about 1 goal, just 1 would be nice, good impact though, 4 points out of 12. go read a book phantom.

Hahaha nice one.. so who do you play for again remind me? How do you know he did not make an impact during the game against normo and THL? Did you watch the matches? My head isnt in his ass, i dont know him personally, seen him play a fair few times to know he is a good player. Ok so thats your opinion on him that he hasnt impressed. good. and i have mine no need be a cockhead about it a "how about 1 goal, just 1 would be nice, good impact though, 4 points out of 12" Haha ok then 4 out of 12.. so your writing them off after 4 rounds hmmm ok your call... go read a book, i will give you points for originality. Keep those gems coming mate... haha

I wont stick up for pearso but explain how you score goals when your up front on your own,im a ex-striker/player and know you need a partner up there. My tip the Y to drop or Ravens. Question:If you asked every player in your 1st grade(from each club)to juggle the ball more then 50 times do you think they could.Ive seen some very average ball control from a lot of teams so far this year.

fact
wrote on 27-Apr-06 16:00

Sol Campbell cant juggle more than 20 times. Champs league finalist, English international, premier league champion, fa cup winner...........

Either can Roy Keane.

huh Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Damo, weren't lea up 2-1 with 10 to go against you > guys? Pretty big call from what i hear yes they were. Hence why i said there starting 11 is good enough to stay up. But if they get injuries to key players (hickie, adam or butts), not sure how well they will go. So not that big of a call.

fair enough damo. injuries to key players causing big probems probably goes for a few of those types of teams so fair call

Buds Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Wait til 2nd round and we gel together, you wont > score again. hahahhaa your kidding right? You have been geling forever, you even had a team playing six a side in the local comp.. how much more gelling can be done? I agree with Damo you have nothing after adam, hicky and butts..

Fair go
wrote on 27-Apr-06 16:06

we need to see how Roselea play against some of the good teams in the comp, we havent seen them play Penno, NHM or STA. They have gone from holding NER to a draw to getting spanked by WPH. Its a bit of a gap there. Maybe after a few big games we'll see if they can grind something out.

DAMIEN
wrote on 27-Apr-06 16:06

Pearso has been playing left mid, hasnt he? Anyway..... I think Roselea will come close to the drop. Their first 11 looks good enough to stay up, but after that?? Against us on tuesday, they couldnt even get ppl to sit on the bench. In saying that, YMCA for the drop. They cant keep on doing the impossible.

Damo, weren't lea up 2-1 with 10 to go against you guys? Pretty big call from what i hear

Buds

Wait til 2nd round and we gel together, you wont score again.

Yeah, good call about lea, wait to see them against penno or the norm. also good call over good players who cant juggle. i make that claim all the time, i cant juggle to save my life but do play 1sts (orange peeler)

wrote on 27-Apr-06 17:06

I've do pretty well in my tipping for the last two games. I have picked the Buds over St andrews... Time will tell.

Juice
wrote on 28-Apr-06 14:02

Ah that reminds me of the now retired Craig Edwards... he'd pass the ball to the opposition and then tackle them - that's how he beat players... very amusing.

LiamW
wrote on 28-Apr-06 14:09

Yes it was disapointing we couldnt get any of our ressies to sit on the bench for us .I can't see that situation happening again. As for us ,if we didn't have some of our influential players of course it will effect us. It doesn't matter what level you play at that will always be the case. I would like to see how Penno went without Kurt and Boz, NER without Tarrant and Batts etc,etc Damo ,The Thunder will be in the same boat when you are sitting out through a suspension you will no doubt be getting if you continue to carry on the way you do. Yeah I have got the first touch of a rapist. My first touch is that bad my second is usually a tackle. I suppose thats why I've sat on the bench the last two games.

Sounds like Liam W would feel at home in our back line at West Penno. Considered moving from the Rosebuds?

Just like giraffes evolved with a long neck to give a feeding advantage on the plains of Africa, I adapted to learn a way to advance upfield without silky skills. Good luck tomorrow...
