So whats the GO with insurance as a player?? from personal experience can anyone tell me if it actually covers anything? I know they cover about 25% of your wage or $200 per week, but what about ambo, surgeries, physio etc... or is it all just a crock
It's not great. From memory it only covers non Medicare funded treatment and if you have private insurance, you have to claim that first and the football insurance covers the gap only. In other words you use up all your physio chiro etc cover at the same time.
