RULES:
The Forum encourages participating team Coaches/Managers to institute a 3, 2, 1 concensus point score system for the best defensive player each round, to keep their own tallies and to award the Best Defence prize at the end of the competition rounds to the individual player in the Best Defensive Team who has accrued the highest number of points.
The name of the winning player (from each squad) is to be announced on this forum by the winning team.
Can each Golden Boot club rep get in touch with me by private message to advise details for despatch of prizes.
Ken reserve grade recipient - Matt Capaldi. Super season seeing the young fella promoted to 1st grade late in the season and a worthy recipient of player of grand final in Ken's GHFA Cup win. Congrats Matt.
Just want to expand on Steg's comment.
Matt Capaldi has been at the club for as long as i can remember and is a fine example of bringing youth through the ranks and giving them a go in the big league.
It's really great to see Matt develop into one of the better defenders in the league, not to mention he had to push Nate Gray out of his spot, which is a mammoth task in itself.
A big congratulations to Matt, but also a bigger congratulations to Sir Luke for believing in him - there were a few questionable games early on, but only positives the past few weeks. Well done!
