Serious?? Hasnt ghfa ever heard of midweek catchup games???
I know this is the P/L site but does anyone know if the AA1 still have a GF? Seeing as there is a weeks gap betweek the scheduled last round and the GF
Midweek catch-up games are hard i spose cos of the lack of grounds with lights etc. but what about double header weekends for catch ups? We haven't had a single one this season. Plus no games on Anzac Day or Queens Birthday Monday. GHFA have fucked up good and proper

I hear they have the option of moving the Div 2 & lower GF's to the same weekend as the Div 1 GF's.
Honestly, playing the entire season and then no semis at all is bullshit. To play no semis and then no grand final is a disgrace of the hightest order. Why the hell have we been playing all season? Absolute muppets
Each non premier league team still has two games against same opposition (ie same round both home and away) yet to be played.
Why not play once and double points..I suggested this previously when it became obvious the current situation of no grand final was a possibility.

Very True Eddie - I can't think of any football comp in the world that would run a league and not have a finals series..........
Oh wait.....yes I can
Eddie are you a relation to Steady Eddie?
On a serious note, looks like hornsby are the only councils to have open grounds.
SO why not move
Normo v Pumas to Harris Road
STA V Pen to PEnnant Hills Park
Hawks v Ravens to Hayes
Kenthurst v YMCA to a common ground that's open.
Sorry but we are paying for GHFA starting the season late!

WHY shld kids be off?
Campbell Park is open.
Now just to wait and see if Eastwood and Peel is open and 3 of the games can go on.
Alternatively, if they are all closed, like the person said above, the games should be played on the away teams fields that are currently open.
ie. Normo v Pumas to Harris Road
STA V Pen to PEnnant Hills Park
Hawks v Ravens to Hayes
Kenthurst v YMCA to West Epping Oval
Do clubs have to okay such a move? Has it happened before?

Everything except PL and SL should be off.
SL AND PL should be moved to grounds that are open.
From the ghfa website...
"All grounds are CLOSED for matches this Saturday and Sunday 18th & 19th July.
The majority of grounds have been closed by Council, Colleges and Clubs."
You pack of d#$% heads, PL and SL are the only teams that have scheduled 18 rounds + PROPER finals(not a gay ass round robin).
It's not about putting kids down or whatever your whinging about, it's about getting all the rounds in before the councils have to hand the grounds back to cricket and other summer sports.
FFS, you people are a pack of puppets.
It's the way it is... whats next your complaint. kids pay too much?
Does it matter? A game is a game and starts 0-0 despite what ground you are at. Lets be honest, its park football and the away side is not really disadvantaged. I think everyone just wants to get on
seriously who is the child who keeps saying premier league and super league games should be prioritized over everyone else?? I play super and think its shit that grand finals could be called off for any division, that shit needs to be dealt with, but you cant just fucken step in front of hundreds of other all age teams, juniors and womens teams and say "we should play at this park at this time" just because you're "premier league" Its all park soccer mate, youre not that special...
From the GHFA Website:
All grounds are CLOSED for matches this Saturday and Sunday 18th & 19th July.
The majority of grounds have been closed by Council, Colleges and Clubs.
To be fair, it is only 1 PL game that is scheduled for a hornsby council ground - WPH.
That leaves 4/5 games cancelled and there has been a lot of rain in the last 24 hours. Time for a big night!

Do you seriously think that HSC would have all grounds open ( bar one or two ) while the other two Councils had a blanket closure is fair dinkum?
HSC have apparently been at loggerheads over various issues with GHFA for a while now and they know it's too late in the season for double headers or split rounds. They are saying their grounds are open so GHFA take the heat for cancelling the round/s, it was the same with the last washout a few weeks ago.
Surely we've all played enough football to know when Council's will pull grounds.

PL & SL played. No one else. Some of us know we're not that special to be the only park football divisions that count. We play for a $5 trophy instead of a $3 one.
