We would also like to bid Kay a happy retirement. She was a very dedicated GM, has lots of friends across the club land....its been a remarkable unbroken line of more than 3 decades as the top local administrator. We now look forward to a new era at GHFA and the many promises and opportunities which that offers.

Your always going to get the haters, but it's been good to see the ghfa move from strength to stength over the years.

Hope the new admin people coming in can continue on the iredale legacy!

Lots of nice things said about Kay and Nicole last night at the farewell put on by the clubs and the 220 who attended at the Epping Club (GHFA board not invited). Despite all the barbs hurled at the Assn over the past 32 years while Kay was there and the 14 put in by Nicole, it has been a truly remarkable performance by them both providing great leadership which has seen local football in this Assn rise from the hut at Santa Rosa Park in the 80s to the extensive grass roots organisation today organised from the heights at Christie Park. Think its safe to say its a record we won't probably see broken. A job well done.

Having the women and mens running as separate organisations would be the main failure of 30yrs of past administration. Other than Christie Park needing a synthetic surface, what are the other specific areas of need requiring strong advocacy from the new administration & GHFA board?
