I reckon it will be gone by next week, just like the ref who officiated first grade, up there with one of the worst performances I've seen in a while. No logic to his decisions for both sides, just happened to cost normo more with a clear cut pen denied with about 15 to go which would have made things interesting.

It's good to know that the coach still has family or mates logging on and backing him as loyalty is important but painful, just ask Greg Smith. Comparing KEN and PHD where they currently sit on the table is like comparing MAN City and Liverpool. ken are less than two wins off the top and would not be happy about it but can still win the comp. PHD are a fraction of there former selves and one person is accountable ..... shop closed.

Now all we need to do is to introduce a few more young fellas, or at least a decent striker and we are back in the top 4.

Time wasting is experience...thanks for supporting my observations, appreciated

The true measure of a great coach is to focus internally on what can be done, not whinge about perceived time wasting, that action is for the uninitiated, nieve and labile folk. Fact is, your strikers can't put the ball in the net, that's your issue and what got you in that place. Free advice.... No yellow required.

Gentlemen,

I am not sure why I have to continually prove that I was at the game? Do you want me to go through the in's and outs of every passage of play?

Surely the bloke in the kenthurst jacket recording everyone's number plate is enough information as to who was at the park.

To answer all of the above questions, yes i'm very happy that Sir luke is giving youth a go. This is something that the last coach didn't do!(i'll refrain from referring to him as a fungal nail infection this time). But i want to see this more and more, hope it comes.

Also it's no secret that since Crimi's "youthfull resting" for some old dead wood a few weeks back and his re-introduction that we have started to put goals in the net and points on the board. These are the players that we need to be pushing forward through the squad.

There are a number of players in the reserve grade squad that have been at the club for some time that would be walk up first graders at any other club in the GHFA and not given a shot at the first grade.

One in particular that has not been given a shot is young mickey. I tell you what, it must be very hard for his father and mother to watch week in week out. I only hope Sir Luke that you take this on board and remove the curse that was put onto the Thorntons from McGuiness as they are good people and VERY loyal to the club. To know that he could be in the starting 11 anywhere else is a real test of loyality and character.

Sir Luke, give him a go or at least cast a watchfull eye over him.

once again not at the game

Whilst i applaud what Sir Luke is doing, i want to make sure that he continues to do it. My understanding is that he didn't pick the current year's squad and because of this he is stuck with 30 dinosaurs(i can list the varieties if required), and a few younger players. Playing 19's last weekend is only because he has a number of his T-Rex, triceratop and brontosaurus's out for an extended period of time. This was always going to be a problem with picking an older squad. What needs to happen is young players with a clear 5-10 year future at the club to be given a go for extended periods of time. It's unfortunate that the winning squad of a few years back were not kept as now they would be exactly what the squad needs. For those thinking i'm fictional such as Jack and the beanstalk, Marry Poppins and others, your incorrect. As discussed previously i'm a life member of the club with eye sight better than most carrier pigeons and ears better than most Bats. I have no relation to anyone in the squad as my son isn't currently playing, but i do have a keen interest in pushing quality and not importing other PL rejects(in particular Normo,WPH). It was very good to see Normo pushing their youth along - This is a club going somewhere after it was destroyed a few years back by the mass walk out and the infamous ejection of that prehistoric beast which ended at KP2. However i passionatily dislike the normo snobs personally, so it was lovely to reflect the days play with a warm cup of earl grey with 3 points in the bag.

Ok you have gone to far this time, Mick is team player we all think he has had a great run, Played in all 3 Champion of Champion competitions. He is just happy to be on the pitch either game. Has quite a medals to show for it.
As far as we are concerned we go the games whether Mick playing or not he was out 10 games last year injured but we still went and watch.

Is this becoming like cluedo? It's kind of enjoyable! The fact is you guys have no clue. Can't wait for the AGM at seasons end!

Anyways I went down to get a sneak peak of our opponents on the weekend after work and can say a few things. Wph if they stay up are really a team for the future with plenty of youth coming through the ranks.

The hawks look like a decent outfit, one which will give us a good run for our money if we are not careful. I suggest ng to try and play a slightly higher than usual line this week as sitting on the 18 yard box like you have in previous weeks may give their midfield some kind of edge. Was also thinking why not throw the likes of Mickey into the mix. It will be a welcomed addition and potentially provide use with the youthful edge we need this weekend.

Can't wait for the clash at kp2- our spiritual home.

Not quite sure on the end result as I left 10 mins into the second half. Hawks were winning I think it was 2-1 as I missed the first 15. Should be a great game at kp2 this weekend in both grades. Fire up bush boys !!

There was a meeting at Christie Park last night so he could have been there for that representing Beecroft, or if not, asked his fellow Committee member from Beecroft if he knew the result. Anyway, proves nothing and we all know it's that nut case Batts posting as Stevie_B and other aliases.

Stevie B is not the coach. It's a hawks player who played 19s for Kenthurst and is upset he didn't make PL.
